Hi, I’m Kay Rice, M.Ed.

Most of my adult life, beginning in my teens, I struggled with my weight. I would finally get things under control and then something would happen and the weight would come back on. After having three children in my 30’s, my weight was really out of control during my 40’s. I was eating healthy but nothing worked and I topped out at my highest pregnancy weight. I would constantly berate myself because I wasn’t happy with how I looked and how I felt. Also, I have a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, so I was supposed to know what to do. I just wanted to feel confident and good in my body. So I tried diet after diet – on the search for the magic bullet that would finally work! I tried eating less, counting calories, exercising more and harder. I did Weight Watchers, the Atkins Diet (keto now), Fasting, and other programs. Finally, I got a weight loss coach who taught me not just what, but how to eat. I lost more than 40 pounds, learned how to eat to fuel my metabolism and was in the best health and shape of my life during my 50’s. I became a Wellness and Nutrition Coach myself and helped literally hundreds of people lose weight and achieve optimal health. 

Still, have learned that there are times that life circumstances will throw you off track and we can’t always eat and exercise optimally. Additionally, many of us have unidentified food sensitivities that make it difficult to lose weight and keep it off. Finally, I learned the value of seasonal cleanses to maintain optimal health, get back on track, give a jump start to optimal health and help identify possible food sensitivities.

  

Sometimes life will throw you a curve ball …

The worst part is that when I went off each diet, I’d continue eating healthy but I gave myself more wiggle room with what I ate and how much. And that’s when the weight came back on…every_single_time! Maybe you can relate and know how defeating this is. 

My low point was a few months after I had delt with some intense and stressful life circumstances and then needed hip replacement surgery which restricted my activity level …  when I realized that I had gained a significant amount of weight back and was heavier than I ever thought I would be again. Not only that had I gained weight, I just wasn’t feeling energetic or enthusiastic like I normally do.

That’s when I decided that there HAD to be a better way.

 

I made it my life’s work to study the real science about food and nutrition and learn why I was struggling for so many years – and I learned how to heal my metabolism so I could not only lose the weight, but keep it off for good. Then I combined what I have learned a about diets and nutrition with Ayurveda (think the philosophy behind Yoga). Ayurveda recommends a seasonal cleanse for optimal health.

Will I really see results in just 7 days?

What if I have a question about the program? How do I get it answered?

Ask any questions you have in the private Facebook Group. If you want to be certain I see your question, please “tag” me so I am notified. I will do my best to read everything. There is value in posting questions in the group … others will benefit, and often may even have solutions!

What if I can’t start on the exact start date?
